CDT — a long-standing advocacy and research group established in 1994 at the dawn of the internet — is a regular in congressional hearings, White House huddles, and op-eds in outlets like the New York Times. Under Givens — daughter of the late actor Christopher Reeve, who was paralyzed after an accident — the organization has highlighted A.I.’s discrimination against people with disabilities.
