More Neutrality Comments — ‘Specialized’ Services and Wireless

CDT filed its latest round of comments with the FCC today on the agency's "open Internet" proceeding.  We've done quite a few submissions in this area over the past year; for a complete discussion of the issues as CDT sees them, as well as our responses to various arguments, I'd recommend our Reply Comments.  Today's comments focus relatively briefly on two issues on which the FCC asked for further input — "specialized" services and the application of open Internet polices to mobile wireless services.

Of course, the substantive questions here — how to craft a sensible policy framework for neutrality — are being considered in parallel with the legal questions of whether and how the FCC can assert authority in this area.  On that front, it doesn't appear that a congressional resolution is forthcoming, so the ball is in the FCC's court.
