Bono’s Not So Beautiful Day

CDT President Leslie Harris has published a new piece for her Huffington Post column reacting to a recent column in the New York Times by entertainer Bono of the band U2. In his column, Bono makes several statements about urging U.S. Internet service providers to adopt the extreme censorship practices being used in China to combat illegal file sharing. Leslie's response outlines why certain policies are in place in the U.S. and how some of the content blocking tactics may be more harmful than the famous singer realizes. Check it out!
