Sunlight is the best disinfectant, but what path forward do we have for transparency in tech today? Members of Congress, civil society groups, and even tech companies themselves have made various proposals to improve transparency, from company transparency reports to independent researchers’ access to company data and more. But what is the best and most comprehensive approach? And what progress might we realistically see?
Join Mozilla and the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) for a conversation about Congress’ work on tech transparency. The event will feature keynote remarks from U.S. Congresswoman Lori Trahan followed by an expert panel discussion.
