Please join Senator Cory A. Booker and leading advocates for a briefing about artificial intelligence and civil rights. This session will address questions, including: What is AI and how does it work? How does bias enter the system? What are the civil rights implications for current and emerging AI technologies? What are some of the proactive measures that Congress and the Administration can take to strengthen protections for marginalized communities? The briefing will bring together lawmakers, academics, advocates, affected citizens, and congressional staff to discuss how to harness the promise of artificial intelligence, effectively manage its risks, and safeguard our civil rights.
