CDT’s Annual Dinner, Tech Prom, is two weeks from today! It’s not too late to join us: visit cdt.org/annual-dinner for information about purchasing a ticket or sponsoring the event.

As always, a huge thank you to our honoree and sponsors. Their participation promises make the evening a wonderful one. To help you get the most out of the event, please take a few minutes to review the logistical details below.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 5:30-10 p.m.

WHERE: Marriott Marquis, 901 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001 (Google Maps)

WHAT:

5:30 p.m.   Registration Opens & Cocktail Reception Begins (Main Lobby Mezzanine)

6:30 p.m.   Downstairs Bar Opens Near Ballroom

7:00 p.m.   Dinner Begins & Registration Moves Downstairs to Meeting Level 2

The starter is a Spinach Kale Salad with Crispy Red Onion, Crumbled Goat Cheese, Roasted Pine Nuts, and Tarragon Dressing. The main entrée will be a Saffron-Marinated Sea Bass with Spring Onion Puree and Orange Marmalade, with an optional vegan entrée of Black & White Quinoa Pilaf with Pan-Seared Tofu with Red Pepper Coulis, both served with Seasonal Vegetables. Please notify us by no later than April 1 at [email protected] if you require a kosher or halal meal.

TIPS:

  • Suggested dress for the event is cocktail, business, or festive attire. Anything goes, but consider comfortable shoes!
  • Complimentary coat check will be available near registration.
  • Bring lots of business cards – this event is all about connecting.
  • Charging stations will be available thanks to our Platinum sponsors: Facebook, Google, Intel, Manatt, Mayer Brown and Microsoft!

TRANSPORTATION:

  • Driving: Valet is available for an additional cost. We encourage you to use public transportation or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft if you plan to enjoy adult beverages at the event.
  • Metro: Please take the Yellow/Green line to Mt. Vernon Square/7th St./Convention Center.
