Sarah Zolad

Sarah Zolad is CDT’s Director of Finance and Staff Operations, leading teams through transparent, responsive, and inclusive financial processes. She oversees CDT’s budgeting process, annual financial audit, and tax return and leads staff operations to recruit and retain top talent who are dedicated to advancing CDT’s mission.

With over 20 years of experience in finance, IT, and human resources at nonprofits, she has enjoyed working with a wide range of organizations. Most recently, she led Mission Outcome, a consultancy focused on change management in finance and operations roles. She has collaborated with researchers, policymakers, and data scientists to reduce adolescent drug use, educate people about nuclear proliferation, and improve global networks that support health and good governance. She designs reliable systems and implements changes to ensure dependable infrastructure while balancing multiple priorities and finding ways to communicate across departments and staff roles.

She has a BS in Physics from Antioch College, an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration.
