She has deep experience in both the public and private sectors. Katharina has been a leader on privacy policy and digital rights advocacy for a number of NGOs, including the Health Privacy Project, the Benton Foundation, the Center for Media Education, the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the Aspen Institute.

Katharina completed her Ph.D and M.A. in communications policy at the University of Pennsylvania, Annenberg School for Communication, and graduated from the University of London, Queen Mary College.

Welcome to CDT, Katharina!
