#TechProm – Final reminder!

CDT’s Annual Dinner, fondly known as TechProm, IS TODAY! Take a moment to learn more about our exciting lineup of speakers, including FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler and European Data Protection Supervisor Giovanni Buttarelli.

Registration is now closed. To help you get the most out of the evening, here is everything you need to know about the event!

Parking is available at area garages. For guests taking Metro, please take the Yellow/Green line to Mt. Vernon Square/7th St./Convention Center.

Every year, the buzz about TechProm starts long before the doors actually open. Be sure to join in the fun by following our Twitter feed and sharing photos, comments, and gifs using #techprom. You can also follow us on Facebook where we will be sharing photos from the event.

General Tips

  1. Bring lots of business cards – this event is all about connecting.
  2. Suggested dress for #TechProm is business formal or cocktail attire – but remember to wear comfortable shoes!
  3. If you need a ride home, consider using Lyft, a ride-sharing app. First-time Lyft users get their first ride free by using the code “CDT”.

Program

5:30 p.m. – Registration & Cocktail Reception (South Lobby)

A coat check is available for all guests in room 301, located close to the registration tables.

7:00 p.m. – Dinner begins

The main entree will be lemongrass ginger sea bass with red wine reduction, spaghetti squash and heirloom vegetables. A vegetarian/vegan option will also be available.

7:45 p.m. – Program begins

Featuring remarks by Tom Wheeler, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, and Giovanni Butarelli, European Data Protection Supervisor.

8:30 p.m. – Program concludes

…and is followed by a dessert reception (South Lobby) with entertainment provided by the Entertainment Software Association.
