CDT Meets Director of National Intelligence to Discuss FISA Section 702

The Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) and a small group of privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties advocates are meeting today, Thursday, September 7, 2023, with Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines and other senior intelligence community staff to discuss FISA Section 702 and our desire for meaningful reform.

In advance of the meeting, the groups sent DNI Haines a letter highlighting key issues and proposed reforms we wish to discuss.
