U.S. House Testimony: “Can Americans Trust the Privacy and Security of their Information on HealthCare.gov?”

Michelle De Mooy, CDT’s Deputy Director of the Consumer Privacy Project. will testify in front of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Subcommittees on Research and Technology and Oversight, “Can Americans Trust the Privacy and Security of their Information on HealthCare.gov?”

The hearing will examine the privacy implications to consumers’ personal information from the presence of third party companies connected to HealthCare.gov, and whether the third party connections make HealthCare.gov more vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
