An explosion of knowledge that is increasingly available through mobile devices and an array of telehealth and telemedicine technologies is linking the marvels of medicine to more patients and providers separated by geography.
On February 5, Health Affairs will unveil their February 2014 issue, “The Rise Of Connected Health,” which examines these disruptive technologies and innovative services and their promise for improving health and access to care; potential for cost savings; rates of adoption and impact; and challenges of privacy, liability and regulatory policy.
