Data Privacy & the Federal Communications Commission: What is its role, and does it need to evolve to meet today’s consumer needs?

The Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) invites you to a panel discussion focused on the state of communications data privacy, what policymakers are considering as they look to update national data privacy standards, and the role the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) plays in keeping consumer data, particularly sensitive location data collected by wireless carriers, out of the wrong hands. 

The event will feature keynote remarks from FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel followed by an expert panel discussion.
