As AI continues to shape the learning landscape in education, concerns regarding its potential to amplify unwanted biases have become critical. Now is the time to investigate questions prompted by the intersection between AI and education and its implications for students.

In this webinar, we will explore a phenomenon known as algorithmic discrimination: the possibility of AI perpetuating systemic unfairness in learning resources recommended to different student populations. Panelists will also consider the implications of AI on student privacy and surveillance. With greater integration of AI into educational systems, will students be subject to greater scrutiny in the name of personalized learning? Further, what safeguards are in place to protect their rights?

Join us as we navigate the complexities of AI in education and explore potential strategies for ensuring that AI enhances, rather than detracts from, educational equity and student well-being.

This webinar is part three of six in our latest webinar series, AI and the Legal Profession: Navigating Opportunities and Challenges. Please visit the series webpage at ambar.org/ai-series for additional information.
