EU Affairs Analyst

Vincenzo works as CDT’s EU Affairs Analyst in the Brussels office.

After having gained his master degree in Law from the University of Bologna and worked as a digital communications consultant, Vincenzo moved to Brussels to obtain an LL.M. in IP & IT Law from KU Leuven. He’s been an intern in the European Parliament, working on the copyright reform, and in EDRi, working on disinformation and platform regulation.

Once in Brussels, he started writing for the Italian editions of Wired and Motherboard, mostly on copyright and data protection. He’s been a speaker at events like the International Festival of Journalism and the Italian Hacker Camp, explaining the consequences of the European digital policies.

Since October 2018, he has taught IP & IT law as an Adjunct Professor at IULM University in Milan.
