Join the Movement Advancement Project (MAP), the Center for Democracy & Technology, and Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy for a webinar on advancing responsible sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) data practices at the state level. This event follows our joint report State-Level Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Data Practices: Inclusive Data, Responsible Governance, and will cover:
- The benefits, risks, and case for improving SOGI data governance,
- The current landscape of state-level SOGI data laws and policies,
- The legal and policy context for SOGI data protections, and
- Promising practices for strengthening ethical, responsible SOGI data governance.
This event and our collaborative report support ongoing efforts by our organizations to track the shifting landscape related to SOGI data and unpack implications for privacy, equity, and civil liberties.
