Lorrie Faith Cranor is the Director of CyLab and a professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where she also leads the Usable Privacy and Security Laboratory. She has authored over 200 research papers, co-founded Wombat Security Technologies, and previously served as the Chief Technologist for the US Federal Trade Commission. Her contributions to privacy engineering and usable security have earned her numerous honors, including being named both an ACM and IEEE Fellow.
