Four Stars for CDT from Charity Navigator
For the third year in a row, the Center for Democracy & Technology has been recognized with a four-out-of-four star rating by Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of non-profit organizations. At CDT, our policy experts tackle issues with online privacy, accountability, and transparency every day; to have our organization assessed and praised on these issues is very gratifying.
Charity Navigator bases its evaluations on a variety of financial and accountability factors, including fundraising expenses and efficiency, as well as the percent of charity expenses spent on services delivered. The four star rating indicates that CDT “adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way.”
This four star rating helps ensure our supporters that contributions go directly to advancing CDT’s advocacy and policy agenda – keeping the internet open, innovative, and free. Thank you for your continuous support!
