Shelia Johnson-Aning

Shelia Johnson-Aning serves as CDT’s Accountant, playing an integral role in ensuring it is a well-run 501c3 nonprofit. She is responsible for all aspects of its general accounting, including invoicing, expenses, check preparation, and payables reporting. Shelia provides regular financial reports, and verifies the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies. She also assists with processing payroll, employee 403(b) retirement plans, and Flex Spending Accounts.

Shelia is an experienced accountant and human resources professional, with more than 10 years of experience. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Strayer University, is a native of Washington DC, and lives there with her husband.
