Visiting Fellow

Nick Sullivan is a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Democracy & Technology, where he leverages his expertise and experience to ensure that the privacy and security of the Internet and the Web are maintained thoroughly.

Nick’s experience has been built through his work for Apple Inc. and later as the Head of Research at Cloudflare, where he played a crucial role in enhancing the company’s encryption and secure network protocols. Nick is also a frequent speaker at global tech and security conferences, where his cultivated research skills and accumulated knowledge of the industry serve to ensure that the internet remains a safer, better place.

His skills have garnered respect and trust, securing him a role as a reviewer for academic security conferences such as Real World Crypto, NDSS and USENIX Security. He also volunteers his spare time for the Crypto Forum Research Group at the IRTF, where he currently functions as the Chair for the said group. Nick’s talents contribute greatly to the security and safety of the internet.
