Laura Blanco

European Affairs Associate

Laura served as CDT’s European Affairs Associate, working to advance digital rights in the European Union. Previously, she worked in the Global Government Affairs practice of a leading law firm. As an EU regulatory and policy advisor, she advised foreign governments, companies, industry associations, and NGOs on raising their profile with EU policy-makers, as well as on engaging in EU regulatory and decision-making processes. Prior to that, Laura worked for the EU Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium. She holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham and an LL.B. in European Law from Maastricht University. A Spanish native-speaker, Laura also speaks English, French and has basic knowledge of Dutch.
