John Crawford

John served as CDT’s first Development Associate, working to bolster the Development Team and fortify relationships and opportunities that allow CDT to carry out its mission. He was responsible for managing gift processing and reporting, donor systems infrastructure, and donor and partner records and communication. He also supported donor cultivation events and serves as a liaison to both the communications and program teams.

Before coming to CDT in October 2015, he interned at the U.S.-European Media Hub in Brussels and the Victory Fund & Institute in Washington, DC. These and other opportunities have given him a wide array of insights into communications, administration, and program management.

John is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Global Security and Spanish, while minoring in Japanese and Political Science. He has had extensive longterm overseas experiences, including a year in Spain, a summer in Venezuela, and a semester in Brussels. He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Japanese. It is highly probable that he is thinking about Star Wars at this very moment.
