Christine Galvagna

International Human Rights Legal Fellow

Christine Galvagna was a International Human Rights Legal Fellow with the Center for Democracy and Technology. She worked on projects aimed at bringing American, European, and other countries’ surveillance and privacy laws into compliance with international human rights standards.

She graduated from the George Washington University Law School in 2015. While in school, she was a Student Attorney in the International Human Rights Clinic, through which she represented human trafficking victims in a civil suit. In pro bono work, she contributed legal analyses in civil suits arising from torture and extrajudicial killing, as well as exoneration projects arising from wrongful conviction.
