Director of Development
Catherine Brack joined the Center for Democracy and Technology in May 2009 as the Director of Development, a new position designed to increase the capacity of the organization. She has since been named Director of External Relations.
Prior to moving to Washington, DC Catherine was the manager of public relations and marketing for Spivey Hall, a world-renowned performance facility south of Atlanta. Later, Catherine worked to secure funding for nationally broadcast PBS programs and worked with production teams to launch new television series. She also owned her own consulting firm, working with radio and television producers on programming for broadcast via PBS and NPR member stations. Prior to joining the Center for Democracy and Technology, Catherine was the national corporate fundraiser for United Cerebral Palsy where she brought new projects to fruition through corporate and foundation giving programs and directed programs that contributed to the strength of the association.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Catherine has an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s Degree in Music from Florida State University.
