Becca Shields

Becca Shields is the development and external affairs associate, where she supports with fundraising and donor communications. Prior to joining CDT, Becca was an associate at Orr Group, a nonprofit consulting firm, where she developed actionable strategies to support nonprofit partners in improving their fundraising programs.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Affairs from George Washington University. Becca has held further roles at Public Interest Registry, a nonprofit that manages the .org domain. She is originally from Encinitas, CA, but has lived in the D.C. area since 2019.
