Even today, Congress sometimes forgets that we live in the Information Age. The speed and way in which information is shared has exposed the often shady and corrupt ways Congress conducts business. Nevertheless, every so often the brilliant light of campaign contributions manages to blind congressional lawmakers to the obvious: That they can’t slip one by the American people the way they used to anymore.
