Changes Could Diminish Public Voice In ICANN
CDT and Common Cause have released comments on proposed changes to the bylaws of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). The changes remove previous guarantees of nine publicly elected "At-Large" Directors on the ICANN Board. On a related issue, CDT and Common Cause expressed their support for ICANN's proposed election procedures. CDT and Common Cause are urging all Internet users to register and participate in the ICANN election.
