CDT (Virtually) Goes to RightsCon 2020!
It’s another year, another RightsCon! This year the conference is taking place entirely online, and CDT will certainly still have a large presence at the conference.
RightsCon, organized by our friends at Access Now, is one of the most important events of the year for the digital rights community, attracting top-level advocates, human rights experts, government officials, and leaders from the tech industry. The conference takes place this week from July 27-31. Take a look at all of the official events we’re a part of, detailed below:
RightsCon 2020 Sessions
- Human rights-based model of intermediary liability: how do we get there?
[#9065 ; hosted by Access Now] - Beyond the platform: content moderation and internet infrastructure
[#8862 ; hosted by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF); Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT)] - Innovating for inclusion: how to combat bias through policies, product design, and community engagement
[#9845 ; hosted by Airbnb, Inc.] - Surveillance and algorithmic regulation in transportation and public spaces
[#9612 ; hosted by Uber]
We will be updating this post with more info as the conference shares it with our participating policy teams.
