If you've been reading about Firesheep this week, you might be rightfully afraid that your personal logins to your favorite websites could be stolen. It's an easy trick for a hacker, but the solution is simple. If you're using any website and want your login details to remain secure, just make sure the site you're visiting is using HTTPS. If your url starts with https://, you can be assured of a higher level of security against low-level hackers. Plugins such as EFF's HTTPS Anywhere can make this easy, but it's not a catch-all, so watch your URL bar.
