Groups Urge Congress to Reject CISPA

CDT joins a group of 34 other organizations in signing this letter to the House of Representatives asking them to vote ‘no’ on CISPA. The groups express gave concern that the bill will allow companies that hold very sensitive and personal information to liberally share it with the government, which could then use the information without meaningful oversight for purposes unrelated to cybersecurity.
