Broad Coalition Opposes SEC Proposal for Access to Email
On July 12, 2013, a broad range of companies, trade associations, and policy groups from across the political spectrum submitted a letter to the United States Senate opposing a proposal from the SEC that would grant federal regulatory agencies authority to require Internet companies to disclose the contents of communications or documents stored on behalf of their customers.
