Welcome to the 2025 Deaf Law Day! We look forward to have you join us for a dynamic and engaging discussion on the latest legal challenges, issues, developments, and breakthroughs impacting Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened people (hereinafter “deaf and hard of hearing”). This one-day conference, hosted by Deaf Equality and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Bar Association, is made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors:
- Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld LLP, founded in San Francisco in 1990, focuses its practice on complex litigation. RBGG attorneys have been consistently recognized as some of the top trial and appellate lawyers in California.
- Fox & Robertson is a two-lawyer civil rights firm based in Denver, Colorado, with a practice focused on impact disability rights litigation as well as individual advocacy and education.
Our exciting Agenda includes presentations on:
- Federal Policy Updates – the impact of new executive orders and decisions from the federal administration on deaf and hard of hearing federal employees, contractors, and applicants.
- Justice and Accessibility – the progress in ensuring that state prisons and jails are accessible to deaf and hard of hearing incarcerated individuals.
- Technology Updates – how AI and emerging technologies are affecting the legal rights of deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
- Open Discussion – we will also have an open session for everyone to discuss any topic, challenge, idea, or issue that will impact the rights of deaf and hard of hearing communities.
Join us in person for full contact networking and discussion with coffee breaks as well as a delicious lunch, or join us remotely from anywhere! Registration is easy!
