CCIA: Stevens Invented the Internet

On the news of Justice John Paul Stevens's coming retirement from the Supreme Court, Matthew Schruers and Jonathan Band have written a great tribute to his copyright legacy.  Justice Stevens deftly steered a divided Court toward a fair-use victory for the VCR in 1984's ever-relevant Betamax case.  Schruers and Band give due credit to Justice Stevens and this important decision for its lasting impact on Internet innovation.
